Our Story
No child should have to face life's challenges alone.
Across many communities, orphaned and vulnerable children continue to struggle with the emotional, educational, social, and economic consequences of losing parental care or growing up in poverty. Without adequate support, these children often experience interrupted education, poor nutrition, emotional distress, and limited opportunities for personal development.
Recognizing these challenges, a group of committed individuals established Voice of Kids Society to provide meaningful and sustainable support for children who need it most.
Rather than focusing solely on short-term assistance, VOKS was created to help children build stronger futures by addressing both their immediate needs and their long-term development — through education, counseling, child protection, nutrition, community engagement, and life skills development.
Today, VOKS continues to work toward building stronger communities where children are protected, educated, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Why We Exist
A lack of opportunity — not a lack of potential.
Children represent the future of every community. When children are denied education, protection, healthcare, or emotional support, the effects extend far beyond childhood — influencing future employment, health outcomes, confidence, and overall quality of life.
Many orphaned and vulnerable children face barriers that make it difficult to complete school, develop healthy relationships, or pursue their dreams. These circumstances are not caused by a lack of potential, but by a lack of opportunity.
Voice of Kids Society exists to help bridge this gap — creating opportunities that allow children to learn, heal, grow, and participate fully in their communities.

Voice of Kids Society is guided by a small team of committed leaders who volunteer their time, judgment, and care to make sure every program stays true to the children it serves.
Manaye Neady
Vice President
Manaye helps steer VOKS's programs and partnerships, working closely with the board to keep the organization's day-to-day work aligned with its long-term mission for children in Tembaro.
Daniel Aleto
Secretary
Daniel keeps VOKS organized and accountable, maintaining the records, communication, and coordination that let the board and programs operate transparently and effectively.
Godancho
Board Member
Godancho brings community insight and oversight to the board, helping ensure VOKS's programs stay responsive to the real needs of children and families in Tembaro.
